Katie Blum
Katie Blum is an OCEA alumni who competed for the University of Toronto and held the positions of Zone Representative and President during her four years with the association. Since graduation, Katie has spent her time obtaining her CPA designation and engaging with the community to better the entrepreneurial opportunities available for marginalized youth. While she took a step back from riding to focus on her studies, Katie has decided that now is the right time to further immerse herself in the sport, and is currently running for election to the Ontario Equestrian Board of Directors.
Megan Eves & Emma Lawrence
Megan and Emma were members and captains of the Queens and Guelph OCEA team throughout their undergrad careers. Being on different zones, they never got the chance to meet. Upon graduating in 2018, we were both accepted into the DVM program at the Ontario Veterinary College. Through mutual friends in the OCEA circuit, we were introduced, decided to become housemates, and now are best friends eager to begin our 3rd year to vet school this fall!
Katie Roach
I joined the OCEA in 2015 and fell in love with the community. I was an Exec Member, a captain, a donor, and a warm-up rider for the OCEA for many years. Since graduating from Ryerson University in 2019, I have been working in marketing and sales for Konia Equestrian, a Canadian brand specializing in warm outerwear for equestrians. This past winter my mare Cici and I were very fortunate enough to show in Wellington in the 1.20s. We are excited to see where the future takes us!
